CARLA GARCÍA TIMONER

Carla is currently in her fifth semester (3rd year) of law studies at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. She joined the Jessup to explore international law from a practical and global perspective and to strengthen her skills in legal writing and oral advocacy. What excites her most about the competition is working as part of a dedicated team to tackle complex legal issues and think beyond the boundaries of national law. Outside of her studies, she enjoys reading and spending time outdoors, especially walking or discovering new places.

SILAS CLINT TIPPMANN

Clint is a fourth-semester law student (2nd year) at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. Through the Jessup, he is looking forward to working in a close team and focusing on shared tasks over a longer period of time. Having already spent two years in Australia, he is excited to use English in a more academic environment as well. Outside of university, he enjoys various sports, or you will find him reading – especially about geography.

JONAS LEUTE

Jonas is a third-semester law student (2nd year) at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and scholarship holder of the „Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes“. Through the Jessup, he seeks the opportunity to work on issues of public international law with a depth and intensity that go beyond the boundaries of the usual curriculum of German law studies, alongside a great team. Outside of academics, you will find him on the football pitch or engaged in a conversation about politics.

PAULINE KÜHN

Pauline is a student of political science and public law at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. Her stay abroad as part of the European Solidarity Corps particularly sparked her interest in the field of international relations. By participating in the Jessup Moot Court, she looks forward to gaining a deeper understanding of how the international system works. When she is not conducting research, she enjoys playing the piano, reading, or hiking to let new thoughts emerge.
